Public Transport

Since I bought my car, I rarely use public transport. Today I decided to take public transport to hospital. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficient public transport system in Birmingham! It was quite easy to find the way and the bus and train I took were both on time! The only thing is that it is not cheap though. Today I spent about 5 pounds. I think it is quite a bit for public transport. But I guess people who use public transport regularly will have some sort of saver card which makes it cheaper.

Now I am seriously considering the option of not driving to work. The heavy traffic sometimes does make me crazy. Time to check out the price of some sort of saver card or regular travel card, whatever it is called here.

The Secret

Out of curiosity, I went to The Secret website and watched The Secret video yesterday. It is an interesting video and what it shows does make some sense. Do you want to know what is it? I can not tell you... it is the secret!

No Snow

Well..... hmm...... It did snow for about an hour last night. I knew that because I was awake till 1am. Not able to sleep. Woke up this morning and there is no snow left! Damn it! Can't believe my friend in London got more snow than me. You wait and see... it will be my turn next time.

Snow, Golf, Duvet

Just a few things to share..... nothing mega....

Think about Golf. Have been practising for a while now, still not much improvement. May be I am not working hard enough or may be I am doing the wrong thing. Time to get a lesson I think.

It is forecasted to snow tonight. Hopefully I will see some snow tomorrow morning. So that I can take a picture and post it here. The only reason is to make my friend in London jealous..... haha.... don't think it will snow there.

You know how I can tell if the temperature falls below zero without looking at a thermometer and news? Well..... I have a reasonably good duvet. It is not the best or thickest one as I do not like it too warm on a warmer night. The one I have is good enough for anything above zero degree. When the temperature dips below that, I usually wake up in cold and have to put on more clothes! Poor me..... but it only happens few times a year. And when it happens, I know I have to wake up earlier to defrost my car!

My workstation

Feeling a bit bored at work today, so I was playing around with my camera phone. This is my little messy work station. Yes... there is no computer on my desk. There is one on my colleague's desk and it is not working!

Welcome!

Inspired by my friend who has a regularly updated and popular blog, I thought I want one too! I am usually not very good at writing and typing. So this is something challenging for me.

Hope this can last more than 3 days. (this is the max time I spend on any new project before moving on to something else, as I am so inpatience!)
